I am a painter from the Garden District of New Orleans. I am one of many temporary expats now since the storm. Known for my large scaled wetlands watercolors, I am painting a little differently now. That’s an understatement. What makes more sense to say is, my perspective has been greatly altered, but the heart of it all remains the same.
The important thing is to reconnect with my work and with you. To explore anew. Evolve.
Art is a living breathing thing for me. Creativity is a way of life. Exploration, well that’s just what artists do. So here we are, putting words with the paint, using process to access story.
